Trip is a 2 & 1/2 year old male brown and white Spaniel mix
Nicknames: Buddy, Suspicious
Favorite Treat: Lunch meat, pieces of carrot thrown as projectiles
Least Favorite Food: Monthly heartworm pill
Favorite Toy: The “Skamp” flyer by West Paw, any kind of ball that is round
Favorite Game: Fetch. All the time.
Best Trick/Talent: Catching the ball mid air.
Favorite Place: Dog park!
Favorite Silly Thing to Do: Push his ball underneath furniture and then dive underneath to try and get it back.
Naughtiest Story: Trip was the most naughty when he ran away as a puppy. We were in a family member’s backyard playing fetch when he ran into a metal pole holding a hanging bird feeder. He panicked, ran towards me, then past me, jumped over the wooden fence, and bolted. We walked around for hours that day, into the evening, and the next day. With the help of a neighbor, we eventually found him hanging out in someone’s fenced backyard that had a pool and a couple of cats, so I’m not sure if he even wanted to come home in the end!
Best tip for a happy veterinary visit: Trip has his best appointments when his dog sister, Cleo, is there with him, so I try to schedule their annual exam and vaccine appointments at the same time.
